Be Prepared.

Before we call you / visit your home give plenty of thought to how you would like your estate to be shared out after you have gone.

Write down all the names and addresses of the people (Family members/friends) you would like to include in your Will.

Write down Dates of Birth for your children (no need to do this for grandchildren) + their profession.

Consider who will be your executor. Many married couples pick their partners for this role. Others name their grown up children/brothers & sisters. Being an executor can be a complex and demanding role, often involving large sums of money. First and foremost, choose someone you trust absolutely, but it is also important to check that they are willing to take on the responsibility. We will need your executors full name and address.

If you have children under the age of 18, it is very important to appoint a guardian to look after them after your death. If you fail to do so a guardian will be appointed by the courts.

If you would like to leave money to a charity write down the charities name, address and charity number.

If there is a person or persons you would like to exclude from your will please have their names (+ any other details) ready as well. It is important that we name these people in your will and exclude them.

And please take a few minutes to read through the other pages on this website and we will answer any questions you may have.
